The ICSU-UNU-IAP Urban Health and Wellbeing: a Systems Approach Programme has launched the Future Earth Health Knowledge Action Network (KAN) for 2018. Future Earth Health KAN has worked to synthesize critical research areas identified through scoping meetings, consultative discussions, and an online global survey. Given the regional disparities that are evident in all health matters, regional representation in setting and prioritizing research and policy agendas is crucial. The program was widely covered by local news outlets  including China Youth Daily, People's Daily, China Science Daily and on IUE website.

    Moreover, recommendations from the KAN meeting will be presented at the official website of Future Health Knowledge Action to be launched in 2018.
