We are a member of Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) which is a consortium of universities, NGOs and other partners with a shared mission—supporting the growth of a rigorous, policy-focused, transdisciplinary field of applied research aimed at understanding and addressing the human health implications of accelerating anthropogenic change in the structure and function of Earth’s natural systems.

We collaborate with the Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation to encourage cities to take a systems approach to urban health and wellbeing. The Guangzhou Award is officially the award of UCLG and Metropolis, two among the most important global city associations. A systems approach, which can be any approach by a city government to break down sectoral silos and administrative boundaries in an attempt to improve urban governance for improving health and wellbeing of it's residents, is an innovation.

We participate in the Future Earth Urban Knowledge-Action Network. and Future Earth Health Knowledge-Action Network. The Knowledge-Action Network is a collaborative initiative building on contributions from the Future Earth Community, but also aiming for broader engagements from research and stakeholder communities globally.

We participate in Healthy-Polis, the International Consortium for Urban Environmental Health & Sustainability. This is an initiative of Public Health England, Duke Global Health Institute, and the Australian National University.
