A Drexel research team led by Ana Diez Roux, MD, PhD, MPH,
dean of the Dornsife School of Public Health and director of the Urban Health
Collaborative, will be getting a $12 million grant to study the effects of
urban life on the health of people in Latin American countries. The grant was
announced by the British foundation Wellcome Trust as part of its Our Planet,
Our Health initiative.
