UNU-IAS and UNU-IIGH co-initiated an project "Urban Health and Climate Co-benefits Project"aiming at improving urban health resulted from the mitigation co-benefits coming from tackling global environmental change, specially their links with health. The project built interdependently on the UNU-IAS project “Urban Development with the Co-benefits Approach", UNU-IIGH project “Planetary change and sustainable urban health", as well as to the ICSU-IAMP-UNU Urban Health and Wellbeing Programme.
